Admission Policy

Associate Bachelor's Degree

Successful applicants
　INCT aims to train engineers who are capable of cooperating with others in creating things. The following are qualities we look for.

  1. 1) An interest in making things
  2. 2) People who are able to recognize and obey society's rules, and who actively participate in school life with a positive attitude
  3. 3) An interest in becoming future engineers with the desire to contribute to the advancement of society

Transfer Admission Policy

The following is required of transfer students.

  1. 1) Fundamental knowledge of engineering obtained during high school
  2. 2) An ability to work positively to achieve one's goals
  3. 3) A sense of independence and cooperation, and the ability to take res3 ponsibility for one's actions

Advanced Course Admission Policy

The following is required of those seeking to enter the advanced course.

  1. 1) Those who graduated a Kosen with the basic knowledge of their engineering field
  2. 2) Those with the desire to obtain knowledge from a wide range of engineering fields
  3. 3) Those who wish to contribute to society as international engineers

Qualities the 5 departments seek

Ishikawa Kosen has 5 departments. Each of the departments desire the following kinds of students. Please choose the department which best suits you.

Mechanical Engineering
  • Those who like to build things, and wish to become a creative engineer
  • Those with an interest in the mechanics or systems of automobiles, airplanes, robots and so on
  • Those who, through work in mechanics, wish to contribute to society in the fields of energy, environment, and welfare
Electrical Engineering
  • Those with an interest in the mechanics of robots and computers
  • Those with an interest in lifestyle supporting technology such as energy, communications, and IT
  • Those with an interest in the latest technology and who want to contribute to the advancement of the society
Electronics and Information Engineering
  • Those with an interest in development of principles or programming of computers
  • Those who wish to gain the ability to fuse the technologies of information, electronics, and communications
  • Those who wish to contribute to information society
Civil Engineering
  • Those with in interest in city development such as roads, bridges, airports, waterworks, and so on
  • Those who want to contribute to their local community through work in civil engineering
  • Those with enthusiasm about creating cities which emphasize a balance with nature
Architecture
  • Those with an interest in building materials or construction, or architectural environment or design
  • Those with an interest in the design, implementation and management of the course of architecture
  • Those who want to make people's lives better through architecture

Application Requirements

　INCT admits student by recommendation or by scholastic ability. In order to be admitted the following are necessary.

  1. 1) Those who performed well in middle school
  2. 2) Those with high aptitude for subjects in math and science
  3. 3) Those who, when face with challenges, are capable of searching for a solution independently
